Our refund process, timelines, and eligibility criteria.

At OnlineTourPackage, we strive to process refunds promptly and fairly. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds are applicable, how to request them, and the timelines involved. This policy is to be read in conjunction with our Cancellation Policy.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable in the following scenarios:

  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking as per our Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation of the tour by OnlineTourPackage due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Significant deviation from the confirmed itinerary by our service providers
  • Services paid for but not delivered (e.g., a hotel stay that was not provided)
  • Double payment or payment errors

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Bookings cancelled less than 7 days before departure (100% forfeiture)
  • No-show situations where travelers fail to arrive without prior notice
  • Unused services or voluntarily skipped activities during the tour
  • Visa fees, permit fees, or government taxes already paid on your behalf
  • Special/promotional packages marked as non-refundable at booking
  • Helicopter bookings where the operator's own non-refundable policy applies
  • Costs related to personal emergencies or self-caused disruptions

3. How to Request a Refund

Follow these steps to initiate a refund:

Submit Cancellation in Writing

Email your cancellation request to cmtc@onlinetourpackage.com with your booking reference, name, travel dates, and reason.

Receive Cancellation Confirmation

We will acknowledge your cancellation within 2 business days and communicate the applicable refund amount after deducting cancellation charges.

Provide Bank Details

Share your bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name) or UPI ID for the refund transfer.

Refund Processed

The refund will be transferred to your bank account within the applicable timeline (see below).

4. Refund Timelines

Once a refund is approved, the processing time depends on the payment method:

  • Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS): 5–7 business days
  • UPI: 3–5 business days
  • Credit/Debit Card: 7–10 business days (depending on your bank)
  • Cheque: 10–15 business days

During peak season or high-volume periods, processing may take up to 15 business days. We will notify you if there are any delays.

5. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in the following cases:

  • A portion of the tour was not delivered due to circumstances beyond the traveler's control
  • Cancellation charges apply to the total package, resulting in a partial refund of the advance paid
  • Unused travel days where service failure was confirmed by our team

The refund amount in such cases will be determined by our team based on the services actually rendered and costs already incurred.

6. Force Majeure Refunds

In cases of cancellations due to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, epidemics, or other force majeure events:

  • We will attempt to recover costs from hotels, transport, and other vendors on your behalf
  • Refunds in such cases will be limited to amounts recoverable from our service partners
  • A travel credit for future use may be offered in lieu of a cash refund
  • Non-recoverable advance payments (e.g., pre-paid permits, helicopter bookings) may not be refundable

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with the refund decision, please escalate to our senior team by emailing cmtc@onlinetourpackage.com with the subject line "Refund Dispute — [Booking Reference]". We are committed to resolving all disputes amicably within 10 business days.
