DAY 01: MADURAI

Madurai is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Situated beside the Vaigai river, it was the erstwhile capital of the Pandyan kingdom and the third-largest city of Tamil Nadu. DAY 02: MADURAI – KODAIKANAL

This Morning after breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal from Madurai. Upon arrival check in to Hotel at Kodaikanal. Later visit the Bryant’s Parkand Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel

The driving distance from Madurai to Kodaikanal is about 110 kms. Leaving the Temple City, you will find yourself in the land of misty mountains and peaceful valleys. Kodaikanal is one of India’s finest hill stations and one of the best places to visit in Tamil Nadu.

DAY 03: KODAIKANAL

This morning set on a sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal. Visit the Coaker’s walk, Green Valley view, Pillar Rocks, Chettiyar Park, Shenbaganoor Museum, Water falls. Overnight stay at Hotel

The next leg of your trip will be the journey from Kodaikanal to Rameshwaram. Descending from the scenic hill station, you will enter one of the holiest places in India. As per legend, it’s believed that this is where Lord Rama built the bridge to Sri Lanka to rescue Sita. Your final leg of the journey will be travelling from Kanyakumari to Trivandrum. Also known as Thiruvananthapuram, it was also given the name as the “Evergreen City of India” by Mahatma Gandhi. Idyllically located between the wide Arabian Sea and the green Western Ghats, it’s one of the iconic holiday destinations in India. Trivandrum goes back a long time in history and was an important centre of the Travancore empire.
