DAY 01: MADURAI

Madurai is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Situated beside the Vaigai river, it was the erstwhile capital of the Pandyan kingdom and the third-largest city of Tamil Nadu. There are a string of names given to this city - City of Junctions (Koodal nagaram), City of Jasmine (Malligai maanagar), Temple City (Koil maanagar), City That Never Sleeps (Thoonga nagaram) and City of Four Junctions (Naanmada koodal). It’s the greatest relic of Dravidian architecture and considered to be the place where Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati. DAY 02: MADURAI – KODAIKANAL

This Morning after breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal from Madurai. Upon arrival check in to Hotel at Kodaikanal. Later visit the Bryant’s Parkand Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel

DAY 03: KODAIKANAL

The next leg of your trip will be the journey from Kodaikanal to Rameshwaram. Descending from the scenic hill station, you will enter one of the holiest places in India. Your final leg of the journey will be travelling from Kanyakumari to Trivandrum. Also known as Thiruvananthapuram, it was also given the name as the “Evergreen City of India” by Mahatma Gandhi. Idyllically located between the wide Arabian Sea and the green Western Ghats, it’s one of the iconic holiday destinations in India. Trivandrum goes back a long time in history and was an important centre of the Travancore empire.
