Delhi (2 nights)

Ranthambore (2 nights)

One of India's finest wildlife destinations and included in Project Tiger, this National park derives its name from the 11th century Ranthambhore Fort; overrun by vegetation, remnants of palaces, temples and guard stones. Today, it is famous for its majestic predators –the Tigers.

Orchha (1 nights)

Orchha:

Orchha town was established by Maharaja Rudra Pratap Singh in 1501, as the seat of former princely state of central India, in the Bundelkhand region. Orchha lies on the Betwa River, 80 km from Tikamgarh & 15 km from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh which has been surrounded by a battlement wall, stands a huge palace-fort.

Activities:

The fort consists of several connected buildings erected at different times, the most noteworthy of which are the Raja Mahal and the Jahangir Mahal. The Ram Raja Temple is built on a square base and has an almost entirely plain exterior, relieved by projecting windows and a line of delicate domes along the summit. The Jahangir Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple is an old temple from the 9th century.

 

Khajuraho (2 nights)

Drive from Jhansi to Khajuraho (180km, 3.5hrs)

Khajuraho:

Colors of earthy human emotion! A UNESCO World Heritage site, legend has it that the Moon God fell in love with a mortal woman. To atone for this sin, their offspring constructed the Khajuraho temples. Sensual and erotic carvings give credibility to the theory...Khajuraho's erotica was meant to test devotees!

Bandhavgarh (2 nights)

Bandhavgarh:

Wilderness overfull! Once the hunting ground of the Maharaja of Rewa, the Bandhavgarh National Park is now one of India's finest National Parks contains the highest concentration of tigers in the country besides the Royal Bengal Tiger. The Bandhavgarh fort is thought to be some 2,000 years old.
